Andrew Cockwell Andrew Cockwell is a Principal of ReichmannHauer Capital Partners. Andrew’s role at RHCP encompasses all aspects of principal investing from opportunity sourcing and detailed strategic, financial, and operational due diligence and working with investee companies until an investment is successfully exited. Prior to joining ReichmannHauer Capital Partners, Andrew was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey, Andrew served clients in the United States and Europe, though principally in New York, in financial services and private equity. Andrew was a member of McKinsey’s Private Equity practice and its Corporate Finance & Strategy practice and was a co-author of the McKinsey & Company report, Private Equity Canada 2004, Active ownership: generating better returns in a competitive market. Before joining McKinsey & Company, Andrew practiced law as an Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell in its mergers and acquisitions groups in New York and London. His practice there included both private and public company mergers, acquisitions and investments in industries including cable and broadcast, software, manufacturing and professional services. In addition, Andrew has advised on both debt and equity securities issuance in the electronics and retail industries. Andrew has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Politics from Queen’s University and an LL.B with Great Distinction from the Faculty of Law at McGill University.
